What personal information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

- 1Step 1
What we collect
When you place an order or contact us we collect the information you provide — name, email, shipping and billing address, and order details. Payment card details are entered with our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
- 2Step 2
How we use it
We use your information to process and ship orders, provide support, send order and dispatch confirmations, prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations.
- 3Step 3
Sharing
We share data only with the providers needed to run the store — our payment processor, shipping couriers and email provider — and where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
- 4Step 4
Cookies & consent
We use essential cookies to run the cart and checkout — these are always on because the store cannot work without them. With your consent we may also use analytics cookies to understand and improve the site.
You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the cookie banner, and you can change your choice or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.
- 5Step 5
How long we keep your data
We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed to fulfil your order and to meet tax, accounting and warranty obligations (typically up to 7 years), after which they are deleted or anonymised. Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to help you.
- 6Step 6
International transfers
We sell worldwide, so your information may be processed by our providers (payment, shipping and email) in countries outside your own, including New Zealand. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
- 7Step 7
EU / UK users (GDPR)
If you are in the EU or UK, we process your data to perform our contract with you (processing your order), to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in running and securing the store.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, port or restrict your data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
- 8Step 8
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access or deletion, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- 9Step 9
Your rights & contact
To exercise any of the rights above, email support@roofingservicesqt.com. We will verify your request and respond in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act, GDPR/UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and other applicable law.
